The Peckham Community Partnership Foundation will host best-selling author, suicide survivor, and mental health advocate Kevin Hines on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Hines will share his story of hope and celebration in a morning and afternoon session.
Two years after Kevin was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, the 21-year-old attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. As one of only 36 people who survived the 220-foot fall, Kevin’s story is the only evidence-based account of surviving a suicide attempt. Hines has now become a multi-award-winning filmmaker, bestselling author, and award-winning global suicide prevention and mental health advocate.
This free event is open to all who are interested. This is a hybrid event; participants can attend in person or watch the live stream for both sessions.
