LANSING, MI- Justin Walworth has been named Chief of Human Resources for Peckham. Walworth will be responsible for leading the award-winning organization’s Human Resources department in employee engagement and business strategy, maintaining a successful and inclusive workplace culture and overall HR strategy and employee relations function.
Walworth began his career at Peckham in 2004 and has worked in a variety of roles within the HR department, his most recent role as Assistant Vice President of HR.
Walworth has successfully led major company initiatives including health and wellness programs, Ability Bike Tour – a statewide bike tour supporting the abilities of people with disabilities, I-Thrive leadership development program, achievement of the Great Place to Work award and employee on-boarding.
Walworth received his Bachelors of Science degree from Lake Superior State University and his Masters of Science in Human Resources from Central Michigan University. He has presented at several national conferences on the multi-generational workforce and other leadership topics. He is a graduate of the LEAD Institute of Ann Arbor and the MARO Leadership Academy.
Peckham is a nonprofit vocational rehabilitation organization that provides paid job training opportunities for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. For more than 42 years, Peckham has provided jobs and job skills training to thousands of individuals with barriers through five different business lines throughout Michigan, and also has operations in Phoenix, Arizona and London, Kentucky.
